My Pref Stylist of the moment!

Ecco, è lei la mia preferita stilista del momento:Simone Rocha!già per la stagione 2013/2014 ci ha fatto innamorare con il perfetto cappotto rosa che tutte le riviste hanno pubblicato e che potete trovare quì, ma mi ha colpita di nuovo con la Sua sfilata meravigliosa a Londra di giorni fa:ancora cappotti meravigliosi, quasi opere d'arte, e poi tartan reinventato, il rilancio del colore argento, e pelliccia cammello molto chic.
Indagando su di Lei, scopro che è nata a Dublino, a studiato al National College of Art and Design, e poi Master Alla mitica London Central Saint Martin. Dal 2010 è richiestissima anche per collaborazioni con Il Dover Street Market a Londra ed il mitico negozio Colette a Parigi, ed inoltre, con una capsule collection per TopShop, mitico marchio Inglese di tendenza.
La ragazza ne ha fatta di strada, ed è sotto tutti i riflettori possibili perchè sa fare il Suo mestiere molto bene, ed io sono una sua fan accanita!.

She really did a long career even in few years, she is very nice and she does a good job, she deserve all the success sh has!

High Boots Rocks!

In questi giorni a New York si sta svolgendo la settimana della Moda del prossimo autunno-inverno, e la prima cosa che mi è saltata agli occhi è la proposta, da parte di noti stilisti, dello stivale alto alle ginocchia.
Non che sia una novità, visto che da anni la ns. mitica Emmanuelle Alt li indossa meravigliosamente senza rincorrere le tendenze, ma eventualmente lanciandole. Ma lascia riflettere che una casa di moda importante come Givenchy abbia riproposto per questa stagione, la produzione dei suoi mitici stivali che tanto hanno fatto impazzire le trensetters di tutto il mondo l'anno scorso.
In effetti quello stivale è una meraviglia, e trovo impossibile da copiare, o hai l'originale, o lascia perdere...
Ma la verità è che, lo stivale alto piace, e piace a molte...e si sà, le case di moda americane non inventano così bene come Parigi e Milano, vanno più alla ricerca della versatilità e del mercato, ma poco della creatività. quindi aspettiamo ancora qualche giorno per vedere cosa ci proporranno nella nostra amata Europa, e se anche da noi appariranno tra le sfilate gli high boots, beh allora vorrà dire che questo trend non scomparirà così presto...

These days it is taking place in New York the  Fashion Week of next autumn - winter, and the first thing that caught my eye is,on the catwalk,  the proposal by well-known designers ,of boot up to the knees.
Not that it's a novelty, because for years the  mythical Emmanuelle Alt wears them beautifully without chasing trends , but possibly throwing . But lets think abaut,  that a fashion house like  Givenchy, has produced, even for this season , the production of his legendary boots,loved  so much, and got  crazy the trensetters around the world last year .
In fact the boot is a marvel, and I find it impossible to copy, or you have the original, or let it go ...
But the truth is that the boot up likes, and likes a lot ... and you know, the American fashion houses do not invent so well as Paris and Milan , they go looking for more versatility and the market, but a little for  creativity. so,I'm waiting for  few more days to see what we proposeduring Milan and Paris  in our beloved Europe , and even if we appear between shows the high boots , well then it means that this trend will not go away so soon ...

Street style or what?

Eccole quì le nuove it bag che abbiamo visto sfilare nello street style delle ultime giornate della moda Uomo a Milano e Parigi.....La cosa che mi suona strana e che ne giravano così tante che sembrava le regalassero...cosa decisamente improbabile visto il costo : 7.500€ circa cadauna!
Credo sia stata una ottima strategia di Marketing, pubblicizzarle facendole indossare alle donne più influenti del mondo della moda, le rende un oggetto del desiderio accessibile a quelle donne fortunate che se la possono permettere...
Ma la riflessione che mi viene in mente è che forse il puro street style che abbiamo tanto amato negli ultimi anni stia scomparendo...se la cosa bella era "l'ispirazione" che ti suggerivano certe mise indossate da persone di "buon gusto", e quindi non legate a nessun marketing o promozione di marchi più o meno famosi, ora c'è davvero un eccessivo sfruttamento dello stesso, e si percepisce subito, mise studiate ad hoc, troppo perfettine per sembrare vere. Peccato, come per tutte le cose, niente dura per sempre, in fondo anche questa era una moda, e come tutte le mode, di stagione in stagione passa.Non mi resta  che  mettermi  in fondo alla riva del fiume per il nuovo trend, che sicuro supererà quello appena passato.

Here they are, the new it bag that we saw parading in the street style of the last days of the Men's fashion in Milan and Paris ..... The thing that strikes me as strange that turned so many that it seemed that those bags where for free :Impossible, the prize is  about € 7,500 each !
I think it was a good marketing strategy , publicizing them making them wear by the most influential women in the fashion world, makes them an object of desire and affordable to those lucky women who can buy it ...
But the thought that comes to my mind is that perhaps the pure street style that we loved so much in recent years is disappearing ... if the nice thing was the " inspiration" that suggested  people of " good taste  " and therefore not tied to any marketing or promotion of more or less famous brands , now there really is an excessive exploitation of the same , and one is immediately aware , designed specifically put too prissy to seem true. Too bad, as with all things , nothing lasts forever , even after all this was a fad, and like all fashions , from season to season passes, but I put it down to the riverside to the new trend , which secure exceed the one just ended.

Imbacuccata!

Sinceramente, quello che più mi ha incuriosito dello street style di questo inverno, è il cercare suggerimenti su come indossare capi caldissimi e pesantissimi per coprirsi rimanendo cool....sapete già dai miei post precedenti qui,e qua,  che ciò che più mi ha divertito sono stati i cappelli ed i cappotti enormi, ma anche le sciarpe oversize, che sapientemente avvolte, rendono una mise veramente importante e che non passa inosservata...
A ben guardare, anche nelle collezioni PreFall 2014 in uscita in questi giorni, (enormi sciarpone da Chloe e Vera Wong, - enormi cappelli da Marc Jacobs, big Fur da Prada) sembra che questo trend Go Big Go Strong, è in netta salita, pertanto andiamo tranquille (soprattutto io che ne vado pazza) nell'acquistare in saldo il pezzo cult che ci accompagnerà a finire questo inverno ma che non ci annoierà ancora nel prossimo).
Si, lo so, non sono capi per tutte, ma almeno per un giorno proviamoci e divertiamoci!

Honestly, what most intrigued me of the street style this winter, is to find great suggestions  in wearing clothes extremely big and large this season .... you already know from my previous posts,here, and there, that what I most he enjoyed were the hats and coats huge, but also oversized scarves, which expertly wrapped, make an outfit really important and that does not go unnoticed ...
After all, even in the collections Prefall 2014 output these days, (huge scarf, Chloe and Vera Wong - huge hats by Marc Jacobs, Prada Fur very big) it seems that this trend Go  Big and go Strong, so, therefore, we go quiet (especially me who love it) lets buy on sale those  cult pieces that we'll whear this winter but that does not annoy us again in the next).
Yes, I know, there are not clothes for all, but at least for one day let's try and have fun!

Sinceramente credo che questo Natale, per tutto quello che sta succedendo nel nostro paese, debba essere low profile, prevedo pochi scintillii,anche parlando con le persone che incontro, ed annusando l'aria che tira intorno a me....Quindi pochi sfarzi, regali fatti con il cuore ma senza spendere follie, ma di più magari la voglia di stare insieme, cenette che raccolgono le persone che magari durante l'anno si vedono poco, con intimità ed allegria...

L'unico tocco frivolo che ci possiamo concedere è una Golden Skirt, che illumina perfettamente qualsiasi mise ci vogliamo abbinare...Balmain la propone con una camicia di jeans e mi piace,Antonio Marras la abbina da giorno con un maglione enorme e soffice,Alessandro Dell'Acqua per 21 la riempie anche di paillettes,  ma anche con una black fake fur non è male, oppure con una candida camicia bianca....funziona sempre, non vi pare?!

I sincerely believe that this Christmas, for all that is happening in our country, should be low profile, I expect a few sparkles, .... New Collaboration for Natalie!

Natalie Ratabesi è la nuova stilista del brand Philosophy, è stata scelta appositamente da Alberta Ferretti per farle continuare quel percorso creativo ben disegnato già da anni da lei ed il suo staff, che interpreta una donna raffinata, delicata, mai volgare, e mai sopra le righe. Questa giovane donna( ha 34 anni), è una vera globe trotter: nata a Roma, studia a Londra,( si Laurea in Fashion Design Womenswear al St.Martins College) poi va a parigi, e poi a New York. Instancabile, - ha già un esperienza di tutto rispetto: ha già collaborato con tantissime case di moda, come Gucci, DIor, John Galliano, Oscar De La renta e per finire, prima di accettare la collaborazione con Alberta Ferretti , lavora per Ralph Lauren.
Un Curriculum notevole, per una donna dalle idee chiare, che condivido in pieno: in un intervista sostiene un idea ben precisa di donna: «Per me, la donna deve essere bellissima ed elegante, ma non deve far dire agli uomini “che bella gonna che hai”, ma deve spingere l’uomo che lei sceglie a dirle “che bella, vorrei sposarti”».
Ah, finalmente una donna che capisce che la personalità viene prima di tutto!
Ed ecco che la sua collezione parla di tutto ciò che è lei: Una moda che ritorna alle radici, vagamente ricorda gli anni 50, ma miscelata con elementi molto moderni, come le forme delle maglie molto complesse, la pelle nelle giacche e cappotti con tagli a laser altamente tecnologici, tocchi di Mongolia,maglioni norvegesi rivisitati e stra copiati subito anche dalle case di moda low cost. una miscela di elementi molto contemporanei e vestibilissimi, facilmente mescolabili anche con capi di altre case di moda, come abbiamo visto in parecchi editoriali.
La personalità di Natalie mi piace un sacco, e la seguo con attenzione...non è solo un brand, parla di lei, e questo è un elemento vincente, sono stanca di belle etichette attaccate, è ora di esporsi in prima persona quando si è personaggi pubblici, e poi si può piacere o non piacere, ma sicuramente non si rimane inosservati!
